Not yet Satisfied Shopping, Paris Saint-Germain Shoot Chelsea Stars

Paris Saint-Germain is rumored to have plans to cast a bid of 90 million pounds to get Chelsea star N’Golo Kante

Les Parisiens is trying to excel in European competition, and they choose to form a star-filled team to achieve that. In the last transfer market, PSG managed to bring in the attack duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe with a total expenditure of more than 300 million pounds.

Apparently that is not enough for PSG. They still want to bring in other star players, and Kante becomes the last name associated with them. It was reported that a fund of 90 million pounds had been prepared for the services of the French star.

And if the transfer materializes, Kante will become the Premier League’s most expensive salesman, beating Gareth Bale’s £ 86million as he leaves Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013.

Kante, 26, was nominated for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award this week after helping Chelsea win their second league title in the last three seasons.

Kante entered the second season of his five-year contract at Chelsea. He brought the Blues for a fee of 32 million pounds, 12 months after Leicester City recruited him from Caen in his homeland with a value of only 5.6 million pounds. And he played an important role in the success of surprising Chelsea won the Premier League title 2016-17 season.

PSG saw it as a formidable midfielder they needed to help a lot of attacking talent in their growing team. Kante is currently injured, having hobbled in France’s World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria last weekend with a hamstring problem.

It was reported that this problem would keep him out for three weeks, which means he has a slim chance to travel to Italy to defend the Blues against Roma in the Champions League.

PSG itself currently actually has many talented players in their midfield, such as Marco Verratti and Adrien Rabiot who are entering their peak of development. (Source: Mirror)
